Torsion Bar

The torsion bar is a integral part of the safety system in automobiles. This component uses specially designed steel manufactured by our parent company, Nippon Steel Corporation. The torsion bar is designed to absorb energy in a crash, reducing the possibility of injury to the occupants. This part is formed on our small forger, machined in our machining area, plated, and then stamped with a identifying part/lot number. This part is ready for installation on the seat belt assembly when it leaves our facility.
